Parts 1-3 of this informative series looks at the history of pipelines, the three classes of pipelines used in CG production and the three dimensions of common to pipelines. Technical pipelines are addressed and how they differ from CG pipelines.
Future articles will explain each of these concepts in depth, exploring the nature and design of CG pipelines used for production, asset management and approval processes.
